Sam ate cupcakes (and a Craig Na Dun cake that was supposed to look like standing stones but more closely resembled a mutant dinosaur) and VW fantasized (a lot) about Sam/Jamie in a bathrobe ... after a shower ... with water droplets hanging on in random and intriguing places.  Why does this pose of Sam's make me think of bananas?

Some industrious fan was selling these Fraser's Ridge t-shirts.  Unfortunately, it appears they're sold out.  But I'm holding out hope they offer them again, because I want one d@mmit!

This is a speech about "Four in the Morning".

As a rule I prefer reading to watching videos, especially if I am in a hurry, so I don't often go to Youtube, or surf there. But every now and then I go and watch some TED, TEDx and RSA videos. I know they are dissed for being populist, and shallow and whatnot - but I don't take them as the ultimate thruth, just as inspiration to think about things I wouldn't otherwise, or giving perspectives I wouldn't see and as motivation to find out more.

What are your favourite Youtube channels?

When the first Twilight movie premiered, did you have any expectations for the cast?  What about after BD2?  Did you wonder where they'd go from there, or did you even care?

Kristen Stewart is apparently directing music videos for her friends ... 

Anna Kendrick is busy doing stuff .. and also being nominated for major awards ... and stuff.

Jackson Rathbone had a baby, got married, and tattooed a giant ketchup bottle on his leg. 

Kellan Lutz is still playing Emmett now Hercules. 

• Ashley Greene is ... um, I know she's doing something ... oh yeah, she's gonna be in this movie. 
• Catherine Hardwicke is pretty much doing what we all thought she'd be doing - talking about Twilight. 
• Nikki Reed got married, sang some, got divorced, and then apparently hooked up with this guy. 
• Peter Facinelli finally kicked that whiny Jennie to the curb got divorced and rode a motorcycle with Nikki Reed.
• Elizabeth Reaser is doing theater, and
• Well, then there's this guy.

This week's Bondfire CF is about First Times. 

First kiss, First Love, First time. 

Many of us campers have been reading The Fic Chick's Objects.  It's been the cause of much discussion here in the forest.  This CF is NOT the place to discuss that fic.

Several chapters ago, Edward and Bella had a discussion about first times.  While they didn't get into graphic descriptions, they did talk about (SPOILER ALERT) how it was "Okay" for Bella.

I couldn't help but wonder (nod to Sex and the City):

How many of us had first times that were 'Okay' versus ones that were regretful or fabulous or anywhere in between?

Come inside and share your thoughts about your first kiss, first date, first love or first time.

No need to be graphic or detailed if you don't want to.

Based on the Kissing Strangers Video concept.  Bella has steamy kiss with a familiar stranger.  They have a connection and want more.  I liked it.  It was sweet.

Bella and Charlie Swan change their identities with each new zip code. But will the town of Forks bring her the safety she always needed or will the past she is running from finally catch up to her? Rated M for language and future lemons.

Pretty good mystery going on here. Bella and Charlie on the run. A few typos, but I like it.

Bella is a new corps dancer. E is the artistic director that has unexpectedly thrust B into a lead role, much to her dismay. She’s struggling with her new position in the company and with her minimal interactions with Edward. I have a dance background so the terminology is somewhat familiar to me, but she does add vocabulary definitions at the end of each chapter.  I'd also like to see Edward in tights.
