As some of you may have heard back in March True Blood has 6 minisodes called 'A Drop of "True Blood" ' originally they were going to be posted online, but now they are going to air on HBO itself starting May 2nd at 8pm. They will cover all major and secondary charcters so we will know what is going on with them. WOOHOO.

Tell us about some of your favorite childhood memories.

My grandpa would take me to Dairy Queen every Sunday after church and then my entire family would eat a massive Sunday dinner. He was only supposed to get me a small ice cream but he would let me get whatever I wanted and never told my parents. I miss him.

I used to love this show.

Janco's collab fire made me think about the fact that I've wanted to write a collab with someone for a long time, but don't really know anyone to do it with.  I'm not picky about subject/topic/genre, etc. I just know that reading other's writing helps get the creative juices flowing, but I haven't been sure how to go about finding someone to write with.  With that in mind, I thought I'd start a fire where people interested in collabing could meet others and maybe find a writing partner.

Not entirely sure if i can do this but here goes...

I've been reading a lot of campfires where people are seeking recs and instead of replying to them all because i get too excited and can't think of the good ones, im gonna list them here. I just want people to know what i'm reading because i am a *gasp* closet fictioner/forester/pervert.

So I'm gonna shout these out, holla if you love em or know more like em! (and i'm an e/b fan so that's what these are). and these are all on fanfic. ill send you the link if you let me know which one.

1) Decoy by 107yearoldvirgin- bella has returned to Forks, a well seasoned nudist, and she wants Edward. She blackmails him. It's basically what I'm living for at the moment. It's a high school fic.

2) The Gentleman from Washington State by Betty Smith.......three words. forbidden. young. love... err maybe lust. oh and politics but not to the point that i'm confused and lost in the story because of them.

3) Unfaithful by PuppetStrings19- uh yea, you'll pop a smut nut. Edward cheats on alice with her sis Bella.

4) Disappear Here by h32mh32m - just some good ol' angst and a creepy stalker who I like to think is prob the Ward and if not, they better start humping soon anyways. lolz

5) White Lies by netracullen- owns me everytime it updates. I really like her writing. it's smooth. reeeaaaalll smooth. Edward age, like 37 and Bella, age 19. Fun fun fun.

and i know you're all aware that BAD HABIT: Book Two: New Habits has started and if you aren't, stop everything and go read the first chap. NOW. Do IT NOW.

According to sources the movers and shakers at Summit Entertainment have bought the exclusive movie rights to the NY Times #1 Bestseller Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus and if they want to make it a family affair, they should stick with two stars they already KNOW will be perfect for the roles.

Summit is the company that is bringing The Twilight Saga to the screen, but it looks like the next installment will mark the end of the series.

So what better story to cover next than MAFM,WAFV?

Think about it… it’s a built-in lock! By the time StewPatz are free to make the film they’ll already have hit a wall in their relationship where each finds it hard to understand the other. The press will be speculating about the split even MORE than we are guessing at the supposed union. AND Rob already knows how to do an American accent.

Hello, Im new here and need a good story to read. I absolutly love it when Bella gets super powers, is something other than a vampire (like a witch, angel, etc.), or also becomes a werewolf( I know Im wierd!). I dont do the whole AH thing cause its Twilight and the people in Twilight were not Human so yeah. Ummmm....... Oh yeah I also love Emmett so anything with him and Bella is pretty cool, also no AH. Today i found out crappy news and im trying to look on the bright side of life....

in the process i went back and re-read Edward Wallbanger since that fic always makes me laugh....And Secret Sender Rendezvous and the random funnies it it put a smile to my face :)

has anyone came across a fan fic story wherein edward is a basketball player?

I have often wondered at the anatomy of a vampire but I have more questions when it comes to Stephenie Meyer's version of vampires.  I have been even more curious since reading fanfic and all the lemons that sometimes come along with them.  I love Twilight but the physiology of the sparkling vampire just doesn't make sense to me. 

For example: If there is no blood circulating through their system, how do they get erections?  Would it be venom rushing to the member?  I'm thinking purely scientific here.  I have to know how things work.

If I wanted to write a story about vampires, I think I would study the physiology of leeches, ticks and mosquitos. Here nature has provided us with a model of organisms who feed off blood.  (*Please note: In nature leeches feed primarily on small invertebrates and eat them whole.)  Leeches have closed circulatory vessels and when they feed they secrete not only an anesthetic so the host does not feel them feeding from them but also an anti-clotting enzyme.

Okay - putting aside all that leech/scientific talk, I just want to know this: How do they get a boner if their bodies aren't circulating blood?

So I have a pet snake. I won't show a pic because I know some people have snake phobias, but he really is beautiful. His name is Monty :) I would LOVE a pet turtle aswell. And a pet rabbit, but they're illegal in Queensland, Australia :(

Today is 420, one of the most important and greatest holidays of the fracken year. Why there hasn't been a post for this yet, I don't know but here it is.

The first time I smoked was when I was 13 and bored. I didn't like it and didnt smoke for another 2 years. Then  I got into the rave scene, and learned there was such thing as a good bag.

So campers, what do you do to celebrate? Do you smoke or bake your stuff? IS there music you listen to? What do you like to munch on afterwards?
