For someone who has never been in a serious relationship before (and by serious relationship, I mean never even been on a date. Had a first kiss though...more on that later...), I've come to wonder...just how different RL relationships are from the movies, books and t.v shows.

You see it all the time; The situations in relationships are either reduced to slapstick humor or dramatized to fit the sappy soundtrack in the background. A funny clip from a movie could be a clusterf%^$$^ of epic proportions in real life, while a serious bat#%@ crazy fit from your ex that could be forcing you to call the police could be turned into something hilarious in a t.v show.

So, to everyone who has been or is still in a relationship with someone (whether it be long term or short term), what's realistic and what's not? Where is the line between reality and fiction?

In short, what are relationships really like? 

I'm asking becasue I feel like the younger generation is copying behaviour and expectations from movies and tv that are simply not realistic. Maybe it's just me getting older (And I'm only 19. God, I'm weird :p). 

So yeah, share your stories, tell me if anything bats$%#@ crazy has ever happened to you while in a relationship. Tell me if it's movie-worthy...just...tell me so I don't feel bad bout my lack of experience. Christ, I swear, I feel like I'm on a different planet sometimes....

So, recently I have been burning through The Give Away Girl and in recent chapters they have brought up the question of telling parents (they did! mostly...) vs. not telling parents when you loose your virginity. 

     OR....   ?

SO... did you tell them? Was it a funny moment, a non-moment or an awful one? Did you wait till years later? Or never at all? OR... if you don't have parent stories, any from telling a friend?

So I've been looking to expand my eyeshadow colors. I use almost all of them with matching eyeliners too. I have dark brown eyes and have heard that Gold would look good on them, but I'm afraid to buy a color then hate it.

Advice? Suggestions?

I know blind items are to be taken with large buckets of salt, but have you read this one? Do you think it's possible that Rob is in fact a man whore of epic proportion? This isn't the only place I have read this as of late, and it was being hinted at way before Kristen's scandal broke.

Four For Friday - His List Is Long
It's Friday. The end of a long work week. It feels like the summer weeks when you are working are the longest because everyone else is on vacation. I will be here all weekend and will have a blind reveal tomorrow. I will try and find something extra juicy. If you have not already done so, please follow me on Twitter @entylawyer. I try and discuss things on there that I don't here and do it much more briefly with lots of abbreviations and missing words to make it all fit.

Lets talk about the cheating this B+ movie actor has done on his B= list actress girlfriend over the past few years. It only seems fair. Lots you will know, but many you won't. The list numbers about 10. The most salacious to me was the marriage he broke up. She used to be a B+ television actress on a very hit show. She got married and had some problems. She got back together with her husband then auditioned for a movie with our actor. The chemistry was instant. By the time they started filming her marriage was over and our actor and actress were in bed everyday. One time they were joined by one of his other long time female co-stars.

Threesomes are nothing new. Our actor and his best friend who is also an actor took an actress with them on a European trip. Sex and booze and threesomes the entire time. The actress had previously had a relationship with our actor and she even co-starred with him in another role that required sex scenes. She said they were real. Remember, this is all going on while he is dating the B+ list actress from the first paragraph.

There were always the flings with his co-stars. That happened before during and after. There was the European burlesque dancer. Oh, and a couple of models. There is the night he got drunk and made the ultimate mistake and slept with someone who should not be slept with unless you have a quadruple strength latex bodysuit. She has actually started getting work again. There was the C list Australian actress and the reality star from VH-1. Oh, there was the co-star of the actress that had her marriage broken because of him. That was an interesting one. There was the daughter of one of the director's of a movie he starred in. He told her he wanted to be with her forever, but didn't really mean it. He just wanted to sleep with her. There are a few more, but no one would know who they are.
