Ohoy lovely Campers!
For a while I've been playing with the idea that starting my own business really is the way to go for me - and now I'm going to go for it! (YAY me!). For starters it'll just be small, online and freelance while I study/work/do-what-I-normally-do but one has to start somewhere.
The area will be intercultural communication, translation, written communication - that sort of thing.
I obviously have a lot of stuff to do now, make a businnes plan etc but I'm super excited :-D
But, before I can even get to that I need an awesome name for my "company" and this is where I need the expertise of the forrest.
I really wanted it to call it Wanderlust (English/German for strong desire/impulse to wander/explore new places), because that really fits me perfectly as a person - and I also like the fact that the word is multi-lingual. Unfortunately someone else has snatced that right up and there is another one-woman-businnes in communication who has that name. Go figure.
So, Campers - any good ideas? I like the idea of having a word that isn't a name (I'm not calling it Julie Communication or something like that), and I also like the idea that the word has meaning in different languages. Being a very internationally minded person, that especially appeals to me. I'm Danish of nationality, but I don't want to call it something in Danish, especially because I don't see myself staying in DK for the rest of my life. I like the idea of it having something in a different language (but not too exotic), something in Greek or Latin would also work.
I considered briefly calling it Wanderlust Communication, but I'm not really a big fan of adding the word "communication" to it, mainly because it really fixes the business in one direction only. I like the flexibility to expand it in whatever direction I may feel like, and if I ever get it up and running properly I would like also to focus more on the intercultural aspect in general.
Any awesome names popping up? Ideas, suggestions of all kinds are incredibly welcome here.
