Ok, so we are at the mid-way point to our month-in-the-life contest and I thought we could have a little fun!

We are getting a glimpse into fellow campers daily lives and I'm willing to bet that, much like myself, you are all learning things you didn't know about people you talk to on a daily basis!

So...what have you learned?

I have learned that Dr. Acula went to her Dad's company picnic...where she encountered an unusual caterpillar crawl attraction for the kiddies

I learned that Keytattoo2 makes beautiful jewelry.

I learned what Steak n Shake was from SueObsessed

Grayskiesatdawn has an herb garden

There's an interesting article in The Guardian today about the history of fanfiction, mentioning a few of the Twilight authors and tracing its development from, er, the Bible through to Jane Austen (those published 'sequels' to Pride and Prejudice by other authors), through Kirk and Spock, Harry Potter and Twilight. The comments are quite interesting too, although, I am frankly disturbed by the banner of Captain Kirk's naked chest...just to warn you. Also, Justin Bieber fanfic... squick.

So....interactive part: what other fanfic genres are or were you into?

What fanfic relationships really, really, turn you off?

I started with Faith and Buffy (Faith being on my laminated list, lol*).

So I was all kinds of fail yesterday!  I had so many great opportunities for taking pictures and brainfarted every single one.  Just awful.  Oh well.  Today is a new day and here is what I saw on Day 13...

Day Thirteen — 24 Hours, 23, 22, 21...

My nerves are getting really bad.
I didn't even notice it until I read 6:00 PM on my phone and
realized I hadn't eaten a thing all day. I wasn't even hungry.
So for this photo journal I'm going to share some things that have
been able to take my mind off my interview tomorrow.

Day 13:  OMG, I'm so sick of the drama. Husband and I don't do so well when we're with his family for this long!! I love them, but I have limits!!!

We went to the state forest preserve that housed many of the sites we saw on the boat yesterday. While at the state park, I made myself look up:
