• What made you love Twilight? What do you think it is about the book that drew people in? 
• What was your favorite part of the book? We all have those favorite scenes or lines that we just love, what was it before, and what are they after re-reading?

If you've moved on to New Moon, that's great! What are your thoughts? I'm looking forward to seeing how I feel about Edward leaving, and Jacob's and Bella's developing relationship with fresh eyes.

 

 

It's Super Bowl Sunday here in America. The Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots take on each other in the big game today. That's football for those of you outside of the United States. Nope, not soccer...football for us Americans.

Let's discuss the big game.

Who are you rooting for? Do you have any big plans for the day? Do you go to any parties or maybe you're having a party? What kind of food will you be making or eating? And feel free to share any recipes! Perhaps you'll just be having beverages? Or maybe you just are celebrating the end of football season and really don't care about the game?

Super Bowl Sunday

Earlier this week we watched Maleficent on Sky On Demand and the trailer that came on before it was for Into The Woods. My eldest two kids were instantly desperate to see it. I was thinking of taking them to see it tomorrow, but I just went onto IMDB and was met with a slew of horrific reviews, some claiming it was completely unsuitable for kids. But it's a PG. Toy Story was a PG! How bad can it be? 

I would really appreciate some advice. Has anyone seen it? What did you think? Was it awful?

It seems like the type of film I would normally like, but I don't want to waste my time or money or traumatise my kids! 

 Today's discussion: What movie would you want to star in had you the chance?  

For me I would have loved to play Jack Lemmons part in Some Like It Hot.

Each week I will brave the treacherous waters of Fan Fiction for buried treasure. Below are the gems I've found this week!

I apologize if my few cents on each story are lacking.  I spent a few days at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando this past weekend and my brain is overwhelmed!  It seriously was the most magical place on earth.  I even got my own wand!  Came home yesterday from sunny Florida to 6 inches of snow on my car and Blizzard Watch.  :( So, all you New Englanders, hang tight and stay warm!
