I know this is a day early! Whoops! But, I have to work in the morning at 8:30 (is that even a real time?) and I wanted to make sure I didn't forget our discussion!!!

 

January was Twilight, February was New Moon, and March is all about Eclipse! Next month we will wrap it up with Breaking Dawn!

 

Also, bring your Eclipse recs on inside! I'm sure lots of us would love to hear which fics deal with the events, however loosely, in Eclipse!

Superheros. Normally we talk about that stuff in my other campfire, comiccamp. But let's talk about their movies. Their villains. What makes a good superhero movie, vs what makes a bad one?

For example: Batman Forever and Batman and Robin? The most poorly executed crap ever. These movies are so bad, Rifftrax ripped them and it was hilarious.

Good movie: Spiderman 2. It had everything, style, drama, romance, it was realistic (for the material it covered), good acting. It was pretty much perfect.

And then there are movies that are good, but also have bad parts. For me that was the Avengers movie. I thought it was good, but things tied up too easily, and they could have done better.
