Hopefully this won't be a controversial topic esp as I have to leave for work in a few hours, but I'm sure ADF can discuss this respectfully.
Today's topic is
SEX ED.
How did you learn about the birds and the bees when you were younger?
(Did you even call it that?)
Did you learn about it at home, school, from friends, all three?
If you have kids, how did/how are you going to teach them about sex?
When I was listening to NPR, they said that next week they're having a discussion about the new Sex Ed curriculum that is supposed to go into effect in Canada and the controversies surrounding it.
I admit I don't know much about it except what I just read right now prior to posting this CF.

I admit that I'm very curious about people's answers. I talk about sex with my patients (depending on their age) because I want them to know that their doctor's office is a safe place to ask questions. Plus it's important to have access to care etc.
I also think it's important to keep open communication with your kids early on so they feel safe coming to talk to you later. More inside.
