I had problem getting to sleep because I needed a title and couldn't find it. And I can't wait for the  appropriate campfire. This heartbreaking fic  is about Bella and Esme getting killed in a final battle and Edward and Carlisle surviving the loss of their mates somehow (for the family, for Renesmee) and eventually finding consolation in each other. Slash, but so tender and tragic. It is an OS, I think, and fairly recent. Please help me with title and author

This gives me the opportunity to suggest that you read Alaska, if you haven't. When it was being posted I resisted, then I just read it and it is GREAT, Nothing to do with Twiligh - like many AHs - but a delightful romance with a lot of adventure thrown in-. making you fall in love with this Edward and with Alaska. Darn, I missed the opportunity to visit it and now it is too late for me.
