Hey guys,

If you live or have visited Seattle, I have a quick question. My two kids (daugter, 23 and son, 21) are travelling to Seatte next week together and I was hoping some of you could suggest some things for them to do or see. They are staying at an Air B&B location and they are renting a car, so transportation is not a problem.

I know that one day, my daughter was going to hike on Mt. Rainier and I think they were planning to spend one day/evening in Vancouver. I also think they are planning to go to the Space Needle (at a lovely $22 per person just to go to the top). Anyway, does anyone know of other cool things they might enjoy doing?

I was going to ask this in the Daily Chew CF, but I didn't see one posted for today, which is no biggie. But you ladies have helped me a few time with requests like this and I'm hoping you will again. :) 

My girl is getting bigger and while she's not near ready to be out of her crib yet, bedroom sets are a pretty big expense and I like to plan ahead for those. 

My question is: Where have you had luck with buying furniture? Where have you had bad experiences buying furniture? Is there a particular set you'd reccommend? Any hiden gem furniture stores?

I've looked at craigslist and was very underwhelmed. I'll continue to check it out, but I was surprised by how much cash people wanted for absolute junk.

Her crib, like most, will convert to a big kid bed, but we were absolutely broke when we had her, so the crib is a second-hand that's in pretty rough shape. Now that we are in a better financial situation, I'd really like to get her some nice pieces that will last and look pretty. I feel a bit jipped that I didn't get my dream nursery, so I'm going to use this as my 'second chance' if you will, before she gets old enough to care about what her room looks like. :)

Some days your significant other just grates on your nerves and you feel the need to get under their skin.  Hubs works in a plant that has been reaching sweltering hot temps this week.  He was on my last damn nerve yesterday.  

This was Hubs when I told him that I had a chill in the office today and had to put my sweater on.
