Edge of the Night by Love Tart
Bella and Edward couldn't be more opposite. She's a rich heiress and successful businesswoman in her own right. He's a detective that's seen way too many bad things happen to good people. Fate puts them in each other's path, but the road to happily-ever-after could be a rocky one.
~This is a great start to this story. I’ve read Love Tart’s sizzling hot story “Thank You For Waiting” and if you haven’t read that - I highly rec that one too!
Life Itself by knicnort3
Seven strangers tied together by a single tragedy. A story of angst, and love, and heartache, and hope. It's Life Itself.
~Just posted! Bella has obviously suffered loss in her life. She is now angry, lashing out, hardened and distanced herself from everyone to protect her heart.
Clutch by Sunshine1220
The Devil's Outcasts MC and their families are no strangers to conflict and violence. Their lives have been full of both. History has taught them that family and the club are the only things they can really count on. Relationships and loyalties can change, though. Shifting gears is never easy, but when you do, don't forget to pull the clutch.
~Sunshine1220 just wrapped Dominion of My Heart and now has us off on another adventure inspired by SoA and characters with all kinds of questionable behavior. Updates on Tuesdays!
Burning the Midnight Oil By: MissLiss15
Edward Cullen wasn't your typical front man. He was big and loud, and not exactly one to make most women swoon, but he had a voice that commanded attention. He'd been struggling for years to make a name for him and his band, and in one night all his dreams finally came true. But at what cost to his marriage?
~Edward - large and in charge with long hair and a beard is everything Bella had dreamed of in a man. Warning: Read in a well-cooled area!
In a Heartbeat by heartfortwilight
Summary: In a heartbeat, Edward's life changed. What was supposed to be the joyful, life-changing experience, the birth of their daughter, turned into a nightmare. The love of his life, lifeless on the delivery table, as he held his daughter in his arms. The gift of organ donation was always his wife's desire. Bella was in the critical care unit at John Hopkins, praying for a heart transplant. What happens when years later Edward moves back home to Baltimore and enrolls his daughter in a dance class? Will the beauty in pink tights capture his heart? But what happens when he learns her secret?
~Such a sweet story! Sequel, “Skip A Beat”, coming soon!
Loving Them by knicnort
Loving Bella was easy, but winning over Rosalie, Tanya, Alice, and Bree was a different story. The problem was, they all shared the same body. This is a story of DID, and Edward's journey to love Bella and all her multiple personalities.
~Great ending! Loved it!
Up To Scratch by Vican
Mischievous alarm clocks, inappropriate Christmas gifts and slippery ice - Bella's day just keeps going from bad to worse. While thoroughly pissed off at the world, she finds her salvation in the unlikeliest of places.
~Need a chuckle or two? This is so freakin' unrelentingly hilarious. Bella starts off having a terrible-horrible-no-good-very-bad day and you can tell from her inner monologue in the first sentence or two that you will be in for a wild ride. Nominated in the Giggle Snort and Shimmer Awards and judges pick in the FML Contest.
All the Wild Horses By: elusivetwilight
In her suffocating small hometown, Bella Swan meets widowed Edward Cullen. Can she pull him from the depths of his grief? Is there enough of him left to soothe her clawing loneliness?
~Bella’s life was going to be perfect: She graduated from high school, went to college, was going to get married to all 6' 5" of Jake, and have loads of kids. The thing is, while she tried to come home on the weekends to see him, he started going out with Emily. Everybody knew except Bella. Instead of breaking up with her, her just broke her and she hasn't quite gotten over that. She is alone with her cat Shadow and helps with book keeping and the parts counter at McCarty Ranch Supply.
Enter quiet withdrawn widower, tall, handsome, Stetson-wearing, sheepskin coat, boots and jeans clad Ranchward. His wife died several years ago in a horrible accident. Gone was the happy, fun-loving sociable young man, and in his place was a sullen man of few words sporting a beard that covers his handsome face. Will Bella be enough to break him out of his life of melancholy? Will he be the one to fill the loneliness and despair her life has become? Elusivetwilight definitely knows how to bring on the angst. Wonderfully written!
Paper CutOuts by twistedcoincience
Bella prefers the virtual to the actual, but feels herself being tugged from the safety of her online realm into the world of a rough edged Edward. This time she'll write her own story.
~Bella did everything she was supposed to do. She made it through four years of college and graduated with a degree in Art History. She had wanted to work at a museum, but with the economy the way it is, she was grateful she had a job as a telemarketer selling diet pills, reading from a scripted card in her hand. She considers herself ordinary, commonplace and unexceptional. Her parents call it stability. She calls it hell. At least her cubicle was at the end near a window. From her safe cubicle she observes life going by outside that window day after day until some kind of commotion caught her eye. Some guys unloading beer kegs for a bar across the street had dropped one and it had busted, spewing beer all over them and everywhere. One of the guys was pissed off, but the other one, with tattoos like sleeves on his arms and riotous bronze-colored hair, just threw his head back and laughed. Hmmmm...she is intrigued! And she basically starts to stalk him. It is quite amusing! Also...little Finn.
