Another summer, another travel campfire from, of and with me. I hope you guys aren’t already bored and rolling your eyes. In my defence, I did ask and you said yes. So let’s go!
I spent 6 weeks in Morocco this summer. 3 of them were spent in Tangier (the very north, super close to Spain!) studying French. I had a private tutor and actually made some really great progress. French lessons in Morocco were far cheaper than anywhere else I’ve looked into. While I was there I lived in an apartment with 3 other girls. All of them were volunteering at a local orphanage. We got along great and did a bunch of excursions and weekend trips together.
So yes, once again I was traveling alone, but wasn’t really alone. It’s awesome how these things always work out in the end :)
It’s really hard for me to find the words for this. I’ve pretty much travelled all over the country. I’ve blogged about the main issue I had on this trip. I urge you to head over to my blog and read it! For now I’ll just post a bunch of pictures and tell you some more stories ;)
(Pictures and more words will be in the comments, so please bear with me while I arrange that stuff, it might take a little while ;))
P.S.: If you haven't already, I also live blogged and instagrammed this trip so most pictures you see have already been up on my Instagram. Some will be artsy, some will be quick phone snapshots ;)
P.P.S.: General disclaimer, I didn't think Morocco was unsafe. If you've read my blogpost you know about why I was frustrated and annoyed, but that doesn't mean it was a dangerous country, hence the CF title ;)
Has anyone been to Morocco? What were your experiences? Any other cool trips this summer? Come in and share pictures and stories, I wanna see!
