Have you guys gone on a vacation yet? Will you? We weren't going to go, for financial reasons, but then we found some too good to be true cheap tickets to Crete, and my 'Never book the last minute 'cause it's too expensive" rule went out the window. In fact it turned out to be much better than I thought, as last minute= I can plan not to be with my period, YES!!!!.

Anyone has had this kind of experience, where you book like two days before travelling, and the deals you get are actually better than if you had booked months in advance? And feel free to post holiday pics, or even recommendations for reading during those loooong hours of travelling. I tried to read Dragonfly in Aber (Outlander's second book), but it's such a drag :S

ETA: Sorry I didn't make it clear, we actually went and came back from our wonderful trip! In fact we visited (not stayed at, sadly) a wonderful hotel with WATERSLIDES OMG, and now we're trying to win a photo contest, so if you're on FB or Twitter could you please like/favorite our pic? It's a way of winning a free stay for next year, so even more cheap holiday opportunities we should all be aware of!
