do you go all out or keep it simple? are there traditions unique to your country?

Hey guys!  I recently read a description of the book, "All the Bright Places" by Jennifer Niven, and it made me immediately think of Edward and Bella and how it could have been a fanfic I read many moons ago.  This got me thinking...

What books out there were originally Twilight fanfiction?  Which of our favorite authors got published?

I've been out of the fandom for the past few years, so I'm completely out of the loop. 

The only one that comes to mind is "Beautiful Bastard" by TBY789.

Oh, and that 50 Shades of Grey one...

Can anyone think of some more?

This was a submission for Fandom for LLS.  I sooooo hope it continues.  It's not marked as complete, so let's cross our fingers that a new chapter is coming soon.  So Good!!

Edward Cullen was a tough guy who'd make grown men fear him, but one look at Isabella Swan and he lost his breath. As far as he was concerned she was perfection. Their connection was instantaneous, but could he ever be the man she deserved? His past weighed heavily on him, but as long as she'd let him, he'd give her the world.

I like this story a lot so far.  There are a few grammar ticks that need cleaned up, but I am really intrigued by these characters.

Holiday Flashback Fic Dive:

I saw some folks looking for some Holiday Recs.  I know some were posted in The Daily Chew yesterday, but I didn't get a chance to get over there and see was was posted.  I apologize if these were already mentioned.  Enjoy!

After a rather traumatic event on the beach, Edward, a superhero of sorts, comes to her rescue Baywatch style. Sparks fly and all that jazz. Will Edward be able to fulfill Bella's only Christmas wish? A short, fluffy, and fun Christmas Drabble.

Tired of being alone, Bella decides to put herself out there and, for the first time in a year, goes on a string of dates in the hopes of finding the one-hopefully in time for Christmas. She soon finds out that it's harder than it looks. Or is it? A short fic about finding love when you least expect it. A/H

This one is not marked complete, but for all intents and purposes it is finished.  She mentioned a possible epilogue, but it's been quite a while.  Cute story either way.

Here's how it's gonna work

-Comment here and state if you want to take part

-I'll randomly assign people to each other

-Then i'll pm you who've you got

-You then send your recipient something via PM you'll think they'll like (a song, a gif, a fic rec etc)

-We'll have a reveal CF (most likely on mon 21 Dec because that'll prob be the best day for activity before people wind down)

Every Christmas Eve, Edward Cullen sits in a bar and regrets the decision he made ten years earlier that tore Bella from him. But when he gets a second chance to right that wrong, it's not quite what he expected

We will discuss the second half (including epilogues) on 20 December

SUGGESTOINS FOR JANUARY I thought for January we could do a fic along the theme of new beginnings or a fresh start, new life etc. Any classic fic suggestions along these lines?
