I need a native English speaker to edit a fic I'm going to submit for a competition (Twilight fandom). My usual editor has disappeared form the Earth's face, I am worried but don't know how to have news of her.

In any case, I have almost finished writing my one shot (some 6.000 words) It was already edited once, so it is quite good, but I am making many changes to a never submitted before text I had in my computer. Then Raum will have a content look, so I think I can send it to final editing around the 25th of May and then you have a week, no more, to send it back.

Before I go on, there's a serious reason why.  Date rape.

I've just gotten off the phone with one of my closest friends, and I've gathered my thoughts, and I'm seeing this though tears.

My friend was date raped. Two days after her 35th birthday, which was three months ago. She was too afraid to tell me. Montana has a law where rape is not really "rape". It's sexual assault and that is all. And apparently, for the charges to go through, the raper has to admit that he knew in his head that he/she was raping someone at the time.

Seriously?  My friend is sitting there while these BEEP are trying to decide if he decides that he did anything wrong when they have their evidence.

She told me she is never going to go to law enforcement again after this if something happens. It's happened to her twice now, once in the state hospital and now this.

HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO FIGHT THE FIGHT IF NO ONE GIVES A CRAP? HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO GET VICTIMS TO COME FORWARD IF NO ONE GIVES A CRAP?

So I don't feel like Batman today. I just think I needed to vent and tell you all, TELL SOMEONE IF YOU ARE ASSAULTED.

Thats it, I'm calling it, I can't. Just report this stuff. Please.

Hi there campers!

I’m working on a Twilight fic, and I could use a little help with one detail. Does anyone know if someone would get a cell signal about a mile or two deep in the woods, about a mile or two northeast of La Push, oh and about 150’ up a tree? I wouldn’t think so, but I really don’t know, so I thought I’d reach out and ask rather than assume and be wrong. It’s a very minor detail as to when one of the Cullens would get a text message, but small details wake me up at 2:00 in the morning. Thanks for any help anyone can give!
