Hey, fellow campers! 

I just finished watching The Edge of Seventeen. The main plot line is about how one girl's life spirals out of control after her best friend (only friend) and brother hook up. I don't like watching new movies because I get really emotionally invested and this was no exception. I still feel anxiety for the main character and would love nothing more than to watch her best friend get her heart broken.

This plot also happens to be a very common theme throughout Twilight fanfics and it's never bothered me this way before! 

Does anyone have an rec's of when the "my best friend turned my brother's girlfriend" plot isn't driven by Alice being excited/forcing Edward and Bella together? Wher someone pays the consequence of betraying their friend's/sister's trust??

Thank god I only have sisters because if this would've happened to me - and I'm from a small town, so it would be pretty much a guarantee - I would've lost my mind, just like the character in the movie. Except I'm a Scorpio so I can hold a much better grudge. ;)
